The History of Krug Champagne House
Krug Champagne House was founded in 1843 by Joseph Krug. He documented the unique process in his notebook for all future generations of Krug after him, up to the present day, where Olivier Krug now carries the legacy as the sixth generation.
The harvest is tasted, fermented, and aged separately in each vineyard, partly in oak barrels. This allows Krug Champagne House to have an unparalleled palette of reserve wines to blend. All champagnes from Krug are of exclusive quality; the only difference lies in the small production batches.
