Description

Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 75CL

The Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame is the prestige cuvée of Veuve Clicquot, the crown jewel among the champagnes of the champagne house. A perfect champagne to celebrate life's grand moments! La Grande Dame was the nickname of Nicole-Barbe Clicquot-Ponsardin, who elevated the champagne house to greatness. This exquisite champagne was produced as a tribute to Madame Clicquot, and the first 'La Grande Dame' was released in 1972.

A champagne of exclusive quality, made from a selection of wines from the historic Grand Crus of Veuve Clicquot, personally acquired by Madame Clicquot. The composition is 92% pinot noir from Grand Cru vineyards in Aÿ, and the Grande Vallee de la Marne and Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, and Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims, and 8% Grand Cru chardonnay from Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs.

This champagne is crafted from grapes of the best vintages, sourced from the finest vineyards of the Champagne region, and aged for 6 years in the cellars of Veuve Clicquot. The La Grande Dame 2015 received an excellent rating of 95 points from the Wine Spectator.
