At the age of 36, Emillien Boutillat, chief winemaker of Rare Champagne & Piper Heidsieck, has been awarded:
"Sparkling Winemaker of the year 2023" during the annual International Wine Challenge (IWC). Emilien was nominated as a finalist for both champagne houses and thereby wins his second title and an award for Rare Millesime 2008 as
'Best Wine of the Year 2023'.
This award emphasizes the wine excellence of the house and the dedication and passion of the yellow team.
